all visitors of COTC to have a cup of coffee and a
snack in the south end of the lounge after worship.
We
receive new members on profession of faith, reaffirmation
of faith, or transfer of membership from another Christian
church.

NEW
OFFICE HOURS: Starting January 1, 2012
the new office hours will be 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday. The office will be closed
on Friday.
PREPARE
TO GO OVERBOARD WITH VBS: Vacation Bible School
goes live and under the water this June 11-15! Children
ages 4-12 are welcome to join in the week long program.
Registration is starting and we are currently accepting
volunteers. If you are interested in registering a
child and/or volunteering your time and talents to
the program, contact Elaine Weyrick at: elaine.weyrick@cotc-pcusa.org.

GROUP: Youth Group doesn't meet
in May due to Mother's Day and Memorial
Day weekend. Our End of Year Celebration
will be on June 10th. Mark your calendars

BOOK CLUB:
Next Book Club will meet on Wednesday,
May 30 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss A Walk in
the Woods: Rediscovering America on the
Appalachian Trail by Bill Bryson.
NURSERY
SUPPLIES NEEDED: The COTC nursery
needs donations to replenish supplies.
Items needed are: animal crackers, C-size
batteries, small basketball with net, mini-books,
baby dolls, and notebooks for drawing.
Items may be new or gently used. If you
have any questions and/or donations, please

MANNA
ORDERS: Next Manna order is May
13.
Thank you to all who support COTC ministries by ordering
cards. Please continue to utilize Manna for all routine
shopping (especially groceries).
SUNDAY
MAY 6: A time of appreciation for 16 years of
service as COTC's Administrative Assistant will be
held in the lounge after worship today for Ann Moorman.
If you would like to share personal expressions of
appreciation to Ann, there will be a basket for cards
and the like in the lounge this morning.
Also, at Judy Stevenson's request, we will not be having
a similar congregational gathering to celebrate her years
of music ministry as she leaves COTC on May 13 at the
end of this year's choir season. Please find ways to
express your gratitude and appreciation to Judy directly.

CHURCH-WIDE WORK DAY: coming Saturday, May 5.
Help us do a little spring cleaning, yard work, and various
projects needing attention. Notice an item in our building
that needs fixing up? Complete a WORK ORDER form found
outside the office in the file folder and put it in Stu
Rutter's box in the lounge. Plan to give an hour or more
of your time to work alongside fellow COTCers as we care
for our facility. A great way to get to know one another
better and ready our space for worship and service! Contact
Property Moderator Stu Rutter with questions and sign
up on the sheet in the lounge.
RUMMAGE SALE: COTC's Spring Rummage Sale was a
success! Thank you for all of your help in making this
possible. Proceeds will go to unbudgeted items for COTC,
Women's Retreat & designated PW Mission projects.
