DECEMBER SUNDAY SCHOOL: No Sunday School today so that the children can be in the sanctuary with their families for Hanging of the Greens and Sacrament of Lord’s Supper.
TWO ADVENT MUSICAL OFFERINGS: Get ready to celebrate a meaningful season of Advent and Christmas by attending two music offerings by COTC’s music staff. Sunday Dec. 8 immediately following worship, be seated to enjoy Music of the Season, by Kim Han, COTC Accompanist. Sunday, Dec. 15 plan to attend a 2 p.m. Christmas Musicale in the sanctuary featuring Northwest Choral Society, COTC’s Choir, & other local church choirs. Selections from John Rutter’s “Joy to the World” will be presented. COTC Choir Director Alan Wellman will be directing this concert. A free will offering in support of COTC’s ministries will be received. A reception in the lounge will follow the concert. Plan to attend and invite your friends and neighbors!
SHELTER INC. GIVING TREE: It is now in the lounge for you to choose a name to brighten a child’s Christmas holidays. Gift cards can be purchased through MANNA, or plan to purchase and return requested gifts by next week Sunday, Dec. 8. CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING DEC. 22: Every year COTC joins Presbyterians around the country in this denomination-wide offering for the young and the aged in our care. The offering is equally divided between the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and support for Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges. Please see this week's bulletin insert and prayerfully consider how much you can help this Christmas.
SPAGHETTI DINNER FUNDRAISER: A huge thank you to Nancy Keppel for coordinating the event and all of the people who helped out. There were over 80 people in attendance and $5,000 was raised. There are still a few auction items available for purchase. Contact Nancy Keppel if you are interested.
